Loaded demo records pass key, date, status and completed-record checks. Identical repeats are removed; conflicting versions of a Job ID are rejected.
The browser preview can reload Jobs.csv against the included reference data. The example Power BI project refreshes both input files. Dates in this preview must be within Q3 2026.
Definitions & business assumptions
Revenue: invoice value on completed jobs selected by their scheduled Job Date; excludes VAT. This is not a cash or invoice-date ledger.
Gross margin: completed-job revenue less direct cost, divided by that revenue. Central overheads are excluded.
SLA: completed on or before the due date, divided by completed jobs. Target: 90%.
First-time fix: completed jobs marked Yes, divided by completed jobs. Target: 85%.
Overdue quoted value: quote value of open jobs due before the snapshot. It is neither earned nor guaranteed recoverable revenue.
Revenue plan: £378,000 in July, £390,000 in August, £414,000 in September. Independent fictional assumptions allocated to weekdays, region and service. No customer or engineer allocation.
Margin policies: 35% overall target; completed jobs below 30% are flagged for review. Targets are demonstration assumptions.
Previous month: shown only for August or September, with the same other filters. Q3 and July have no comparable previous period.
Illustrate the service value
Use a client's own figures to test the case for a £1,495 reporting service. These defaults are illustrative assumptions, not measured savings.
Calculated at 52 reporting weeks per year. Time released is potential capacity value, not necessarily a cash saving. Licence fees, ongoing support and other implementation costs are excluded.
